Annie Laird biography

Laird was not named in the original GB women’s squad, but came in after Karen Addison was de-selected in January.

She will be the alternate, or reserve, in Vancouver.

Laird comes with a wealth of experience and is a former world champion, winning in 2002 when Team GB team-mate Jackie Lockhart skippered the team.

Laird lives in Musselburgh, in Scotland.
